"The strained conviviality and mindless chuntering refrain of mutual congratulation is done brilliantly. Annoyingly the show is marred by one misjudgment. Dudley-Brown and Markham are too often made to sound outrageously right wing...A successful parody needs to get over the idea that these people at least think they’re the nice guys. There’s so much good stuff here, I hope they find a way to keep it going."
