"...thoroughly meta ...so far at least – a self-described “darkly satirical take on the centrist dad podcast genre” – finds, well, a happy medium as comedian/writer Helen Price and Michael Clarke play a former foreign affairs correspondent and an ousted Tory cabinet minister who join forces for a podcast."

"The strained conviviality and mindless chuntering refrain of mutual congratulation is done brilliantly. Annoyingly the show is marred by one misjudgment. Dudley-Brown and Markham are too often made to sound outrageously right wing...A successful parody needs to get over the idea that these people at least think they’re the nice guys. There’s so much good stuff here, I hope they find a way to keep it going."
