Patricia Nicol • The Times UK Jun 13, 2021

"...the humour is broad and tremendously silly; clichés are embraced (curry, cricket, sweat, orientalism). The pace is brisk, the sound superb and the performances are standout: particularly the show’s rival matriarchs, colonial blueblood Saunders (her two-syllabled “Inja” is spot-on) and the silkily seductive, scheming Syal. Stick with it and it sweeps you along."
