"Firebomb is punchy, political and deeply personal. How terrifying, to try to make your way ahead in a foreign country and then have your hopes blown up. And how brave the Chans were to persevere after being targeted for simply wanting to build a better life for their family. Chan describes his reaction to watching a television interview with his mother after their family’s restaurant was firebombed."
