Maybe it’s just a quiet annoyance you’ve grudgingly learned to put up with, or a life defining issue that makes it hard to move forward. Whatever it is, Alex Goldman — reporter, radio producer, and overconfident idiot — will get to the bottom of it (if there’s a bottom to be found. Results may vary). Follow Alex as he figures out not only the vast hidden mechanisms that create these problems, but works with you, the listener, to find a solution. "Spirito investigativo e umorismo caustico permeano Goldman mentre accompagna i suoi ascoltatori nel tentativo di risolvere un loro piccolo o grande dilemma della vita quotidiana. Hyperfixed è insomma un riuscito tentativo di tornare a trovare, nello spazio audio, quella modalità narrativa tutta incentrata sulla potenza delle storie raccontate con cura, per solleticare la mente e la curiosità delle orecchie di chi ascolta. ///////////////// Investigative spirit and caustic humor permeate Goldman as he accompanies his listeners in an attempt to solve their small or large dilemma of everyday life. In short, Hyperfixed is a successful attempt to return to find, in the audio space, that narrative mode entirely focused on the power of carefully told stories, to tickle the mind and curiosity of the listener's ears."

"Reply All depended on Goldman and Vogt’s larky double act — but it turns out he has easily enough charisma to carry a show alone...but here his input brings depth and humanity to what is a fundamental, and rather brutal, question about life. "

"...it is just wonderful...Hyperfixed sensibly follows pretty much the same premise as Reply All and bottles the best of its spirit. Some British listeners will find Goldman too buoyant and American for their taste, but I think he is a brilliant broadcaster: thoughtful, curious and endlessly good humoured. It’s a pleasure spending time in his company."

"Though Goldman has only produced two episodes so far, the series proved immediately addictive and charming. I'm betting I'll become a regular listener. "

"What sets it apart even more is Goldman’s willingness to admit when he's out of his depth. Hyperfixed comes with assurance that the episodes will be interesting even if solutions aren't guaranteed, making for a listen you might not find anywhere else...each episode thrives on Alex Goldman’s natural storytelling ability and relatable curiosity."
