A few years ago I was a broke, university dropout, at 18 I built an industry leading social media marketing company, and at 27 I resigned as CEO. At 28 I co-founded Flight Story – a marketing and communications company, and thirdweb - a software platform, making it easy to build web3 applications. I then launched private equity fund, Flight Fund, to accelerate the next generation of European unicorns. "...for all the bluster, Bartlett’s personal manner is far from Trumpian. Bartlett is cocky but in an earnest, softly spoken, chilled-out sort of way...he doesn’t seem to have many original thoughts. I suppose he is good at getting people to talk...there’s also a lot of unearned self-seriousness, a surfeit of platitudes and banal introspection."

Miranda Sawyer • The Guardian Nov 26, 2022

"There are downsides to the show: entrepreneur and host Steven Bartlett’s manner is superior, as though he, and only he, understands the real truth. And the highlights reel at the beginning is OTT. But Bartlett is very thorough...Being a guest on The Diary of a CEO is like being invited on to Desert Island Discs, a form of endorsement, so each interviewee is immensely happy to be there and willing to spill whatever beans are needed."

Ed Power • Telegraph UK Feb 28, 2022

"There is a tendency for big name podcasters to feel they are reinventing the wheel and that is true of Bartlett....while Bartlett is undoubtedly someone to look-up to his podcast is in some ways quite ho-hum. It follows the same format popularised by American interviewers such as Mark Maron and Dax Shepard in which the interviewee is given time and space for an in-depth discussion."

"It’s a celebration of the many different shapes and sizes that entrepreneurs can come in, and the hugely different routes that they take into the business world. We like it because it’s a genuinely fascinating insight into the lives of today’s most exciting entrepreneurs, with tons of tips on everything from managing employees to getting funding."
