"In this day when customers are looking for transparency from the brands they choose to do business with, but too often finding opacity, Nordstrom and his Nordy Pod is a refreshing respite. For a family that is notoriously reticent in personally promoting their business, Pete Nordstrom is approaching this effort in a deeply personal way, powered by his innate curiosity about people, especially the ones that he and his company serves. The Nordy Pod is personal and intimate. It’s not just some over-produced marketing vehicle to drive people to the store, though it will do that. It is refreshing in its simplicity and authenticity."

"It really feels like you’re getting an inside look into Nordstrom and the ever-changing retail industry in general. The Nordstrom family has historically been very private, so getting a rare peek behind the curtain into the inner workings of Nordstrom feels extra special. Overall, I enjoyed this podcast! Living in Seattle and being a longtime customer helps. "

"It’s far from the first brand-centric podcast. But The Nordy Pod’s not just selling designer coats and Jeffrey Campbell shoes. Pete plays a pretty endearing host. If you’ve ever wondered what happens in Nordstrom’s hallowed (and, as the first episode reveals, surprisingly echo-y) halls, press play."
