Stephen O. • Podcast Delivery Jul 17, 2023

"By the end of the first episode, you'll be drawn into the somber world of investigative sleuthing, gradually becoming intimately familiar with this deadly menace...It fearlessly delves into the core of the narrative, leaving no stone unturned, before gradually and meticulously unraveling the intricate web of surrounding circumstances....a thrilling unraveling of a real-life whodunit...."

Miranda Sawyer • The Guardian Jul 15, 2023

"The producers are Overcoat Media, based in Wales, and their approach is imaginative...Rhys Iorwerth has written poetry for the podcast, and reads it beautifully. Reporters Tim Hinman and Meic Parry are excellent, and the gorgeous Welsh accents of many of those speaking have an effect, as does the sonic atmosphere. The show is beautifully paced and realised."

Anna Leszkiewicz • New Statesman Jul 5, 2023

"The series is given dramatic narration by Tim Hinman, a Happy Valley-style soundtrack of bluesy guitar riffs...juxtaposes clips of aghast residents...with sombre media reports...and narrates events in unnecessarily gory detail. --- Meic Parry’s investigation into the 2019 murder of Gerald Corrigan is well-researched but unnecessarily gory in detail."
