Molly Bloom • Common Sense Media • Apr 4, 2022
"The quality of the information, facts, and interviews are great, although the vocabulary might go over the heads of younger listeners. While facts and expert interviews abound, Brains On! does not often incorporate meaningful social lessons or related ethical questions on topics. Co-hosts model curiosity and engagement in learning, but don't emphasize compassion, equity, social justice, or diverse perspectives as much as they could. Come for the information, and stay for the follow-up resources provided at the website."

"It’s aimed at kids, but let’s face it, this sort of intel would smarten up some adults too."

"This science podcast is aimed at kids, though I'll be honest, I've learned plenty from it as well. "

"One thing I love about this podcast is that is acted out by adults but there are lots of kids involved as well. They ask the questions and the adults go out and help them find the answers to a wealth of various topics."

"What makes this one different is it tends to skew a bit older, both in its questions and answers, and it has a different kid co-host each week. The result is a fun show that's as silly as it is educational."
