If you could plan your perfect death, what would you do? Join Kathy Burke as she chats to the likes of Dawn French, James Acaster and Jamali Maddix asking them questions like 'how do you want to die?', 'where are you going next?' and of course, 'who gets your prized possessions?'. It's a hilarious, irreverent, dark and sometimes moving podcast where our guests will see their death brought to life as they plan their final day from dawn to dusk and into the afterlife. "This delightful new black comedy series...The first episode with Dawn French is both utterly charming and uproariously funny, and I cackled at French's description of what should be done to her former lovers upon her departure."

Miranda Sawyer • The Guardian Dec 3, 2022

"Burke, though not a bad interviewer, isn’t as probing as some, but it doesn’t really matter. This isn’t Question Time, it’s a laugh, and Burke’s so thoroughly lovely that you feel as though any guest will shine as hard as they can, just to hear her filthy smoker’s cackle."

James Marriot • The Times UK Dec 2, 2022

"Ah, it’s all right, I suppose. The “death” theme is a decent structuring idea. Unfortunately, even death fails to focus the minds of Burke and French. The thing needs order, structure and rules! I found myself itching for the presence of a BBC producer to codify the rather random questions into a set of efficient interviewing tools to extract proper answers and anecdotes."
