"It’s the audio version of Euphoria, offering the same level of excitement…and discomfort…knowing these characters are underage. Royals does something interesting and hard—sex storytelling with audio only. Don’t worry, there’s no disgusting kissing or slapping noises, it’s much more craftful than that. Every episode ended on a cliffhanger that drove me nuts."

"I got to know Ella and she’s really likeable. Determined, independent, and smart....the first episode made me want to immediately go to the next one. So much so, that I have to thank this show for my clean bathroom. It took me right back to days of marathoning episodes of Gossip Girl or 90210 and that’s not even something I thought I’d want to go back to, but here we are!"
