Our fifth season is Decoding John Ford, a seven-episode series about cinema's most mysterious auteur. Using scores of never-before-heard archival interviews, host Ben Mankiewicz strips back John Ford's self-spun mythology to reveal his brilliance behind the camera – alongside the often ugly, uncomfortable truths about his life and movies, asking whether we can ever truly separate art from the artist. Decoding John Ford starts June 6.

"(Season Lucy) Hearing about how people get funny is often rooted in hard things, and Lucy is no exception. This is the story that fleshes out all we know and love about Lucy. It’s fully of audio, interviews, and stories we’ve never heard before."

"I thought the first season, which offered a deep dive into the legacy of Peter Bogdanovich, was interesting enough, but I really enjoyed this new season, which was co-produced with Campside Media and which brought back Salamon to lead the narrative. The subtitle lives up to the billing, and in addition to being offered a window into a debacle, you also get a rough crash course of the complex extravagances involved in a film production. Also noteworthy is the fact that Salamon was able to dig up her interview tape from the period, which is just superb."
