"...a premise so simple and familiar that it’s almost generic....but the result can still feel very much different — and fresh — all the same...the energetic profundity fans may have loved from Reply All very much carries over into this series. It’s a show in the classic sense, in that you can feel it working to earn your attention, even down to the way it thinks about the constant availability of fresh episodes. In theory, this is a show that can last for decades."
