"The theme of the first half of the show is an amusing peek behind the curtain at human behavior interacting with what they think is a digital assistant that knows everything and remembers our actions. Juxtaposed with that is a second half that turns into a thriller as Helen, our heroine and main "Sandra", has to deal with the terrifying ramifications of revealing her true identity through the app to one of the users."

"Like a radio play of yesterday, but with a futuristic slant, Sandra is a fictional serial with a hefty amount of star power and a tantalizing premise...It doesn’t reach the same heights as something like Black Mirror, but it’s a noble effort for the medium, and the cast has a lot of fun with the material -- particularly Wiig, whose monotone delivery is somehow both perky and terrifying."
