"In what strikes me as a very Planet Money-ish twist, I’ve noticed that my enthusiasm for the program has increased my interest in related podcasts, but decreased my enjoyment of most of them, resulting in what seems to be an unexpected reduction (albeit modest) in my podcast consumption. Of course, the long-term impact of the program on podcasting is almost certainly positive; by highlighting the potential of the medium, Planet Money extends the success of This American Life, and inspires other would-be innovators to push the medium still further."
