"....a show that knows what it is and who it’s for, has moved to seven days a week. When It Hits the Fan might take some tips from it. There’s a briskness and jollity here that means you can’t get bored. Plus, of course, everyone on the show has the advantage of actually still being involved in the areas they’re talking about...Newscast already has a sense of community and both the familiar Kuenssberg and the funny O’Connell will slot right in."
