"Shows like this imply a depressing disdain for the medium....In diver turned media personality Tom Daley, podcasting finds its most insipid celebrity interviewer yet....Made with Love, derives from his love of knitting. As podcast premises go this is lamentably tenuous...the distilled essence of the vacant, unchallenging, untalented celebrity interviewer. Shows like this imply a depressing disdain for the medium. The message is that podcasting requires no special skill. Anyone can do it. What’s the point of nurturing original talent when you can just get Tom Daley — a man with less than nothing to say — to witter on at Shania Twain about knitting?"
