"The transition between hosts has been seamless, and it helps that the ESPN Daily Podcast has access to the network's best talent when covering the sports world's biggest stories. It's also a fun show though—another recent episode featured Desus + Mero talking about a season of watching sports from home. The combination of being both fun and informative—and episodes are only about 20 minutes long!—make ESPN Daily a must for any sports fan."

"It was the 50th Anniversary of the historic USC vs. Alabama college football game on September 12. That game changed the landscape of college football teams in the deep south with all white squads. 10 minutes in the episode, I got literal goosebumps when they described the USC bus driving through an all black neighborhood in Birmingham on gameday and they were cheering USC on. All because of what the game meant to them as a people. An integrated team, civil rights, not being able to go to football games, and more. The USC players knew what it meant. LOVED THIS EPISODE."
