"On “Black Lives Matter IRL and Online” - My heart was pounding listening to this story on Endless Thread. It’s part recollection and part audio diary of demonstrators who were assaulted by police officers when they were protesting President Trump’s infamous photo-op in front of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Washington, DC, over the summer. This episode is a relic of this chaotic era of American history, and because all of this was captured on smart phones and distributed via social media, a commentary on the power of protest in a digital world."

"Conscripted straight from the popular message board site, hosts Ben Brock Johnson and Amory Sivertson have accrued some of the most bizarro real-life content imaginable, all of which first appeared in various Reddit communities. Johnson and Sivertson also do the occasional celebrity interview -- notably, with Bill Hader during his Barry promo tour -- to keep things fresh."
