"The Ace Hotel at Palm Springs provides a backdrop for old myths and tales from a hot, sandy, isolated Western landscape. The audio quality isn’t as good as other episodes, but the stories are told so fluidly that this episode is worth a listen. You’ll want to keep your maps app open to trace the geographies as Ken Layne walks you through murder, mystery, and an alternative universe that’s just on the other side of the mountain range."
