Dead Pilots Society
4.5/5
Critic Rating
In Dead Pilots Society, scripts that were developed by studios and networks but were never produced are given the table reads they deserve. Starring actors you know and love from television and film, a live audience, and a good time in which no one gets notes, no one is fired, and everyone laughs. Presented by Andrew Reich (Friends; Worst Week) Ben Blacker (The Writers Panel podcast; co-creator, Thrilling Adventure Hour), and Noah Findling (The New York Times, Comedy Central).

"The performances are fun and the script itself is fine, zany in a way that kinda reminds me of early 2000s British comedies, particularly Spaced, albeit squeezed through a contemporary American comedy filter. It’s pure play and performance, without the portent of trying to make something more than what it is."

"Playing a TV producer is very fun, and Dead Pilot’s Society is an easy way to do it. This podcast pulls back the curtain on what’s going on in the TV industry, and what great words are left as unproduced scripts."
