"Think Sex and the City, but wittier, woke and, most notably, between women who are not white. I shudder at the thought of my parents (who are Sri Lankan) hearing me joke that my safe word in the bedroom is “pakora”, or being examined by a labiaplasty surgeon on air — as has happened in previous episodes of Brown Girls Do It Too. Yet to talk about the ways in which Brown Girls Do It Too is revolutionary does the podcast a disservice."
