"(Season 2) Rebecca said Gilbert King is one of only a handful of writers who can create such empathy for people who we might not feel deserve it."

"(Season 2) King ha preso la storia di Scott e l’ha trasformata in un racconto estremamente coinvolgente, fatto di voci rotte, telefonate dal carcere e verità che emergono come alghe dall’acqua scura e paludosa della Florida. Questa seconda stagione diventa così, un’indagine sulla possibilità del cambiamento, sulla fragilità del perdono e su cosa resta della propria vita quando la giustizia non arriva dove dovrebbe. /////////////////////// King took Scott's story and transformed it into an extremely engaging story, made up of broken voices, phone calls from prison and truths that emerge like algae from the dark and swampy water of Florida. This second season thus becomes an investigation into the possibility of change, the fragility of forgiveness and what remains of one's life when justice does not arrive where it should."

"In exacting detail, King and his research assistant Kelsey Decker explore the botched investigation of Michelle’s death. What stands out most about Bone Valley is King and Decker’s commitment to the story. If they have an agenda, it is to surface every aspect of Michelle Schofield’s murder. With his experience overturning wrongful convictions, King brings a seasoned eye to the case. Through meticulous investigation, King and Decker try to right one of the many wrongs enacted by a flawed system."

"I actually turned on my youtube and was watching dateline 2020 and was sick about this man Leo Schofield. It is a shame in this day and age that this man is still in prison. However, I have been checking your podcast. You guys keep doing what you do."
