"a charming little gem from BBC Sounds, is low on gut-wrenching horror, overhyped plot twists and breathless narration. It is (woozily) high on giddy sound effects, quirky detail and trippy music — the score is an original composition by Gruff Rhys of Super Furry Animals fame. This is all narrated in resonant Welsh tones by the actor Rhys Ifans, who is given eccentric digressions into the beauties of the Welsh landscape or the natural affinities of Wales and LSD. I suppose The Great LSD Plot is what you’d call a mood piece..."
