"This week, two familiar voices in Southern California radio debuted an all-new podcast. They’re not looking to recreate their previous work and are currently embracing the freedom and opportunity that comes with a podcast.Mac Kay and Baxter continue to find interesting stories to discuss for the podcast and thanks to Baxter’s vast archive of soundbites (he has collected over 1,200 from across the internet since leaving KROQ), their discussion and bits flow quite nicely as the duo definitely have an on-air chemistry with a lot of laughter, biting banter and plenty of self-deprecation in between the storytelling."

"Since moving to London, Baxter has been hosting interviews and doing voice tracking for digital broadcaster Podcast Radio. Mac Kay and Baxter remained in contact, and she said she broached the idea of reteaming soon after KROQ ended “Kevin in the Morning.” Mac Kay and Baxter said the show is still a work in progress, but some hallmarks of “Kevin and Bean” can be expected — including Baxter’s love of collecting soundbites (he’s amassed more than 1,200 new ones since last year)."

"Timely and relevant, Allie and Bean got Jensen Karp to come on to talk about the Shrimp in his Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Classic morning radio style radio. Loved it. Unfortunately, it looks like you have to be a subscriber on the Patreon feed and it's not on the Free feed. "
