Frank Racioppi • Ear Worthy Jul 10, 2024

"...it's not a "cat lady" podcast where cat lovers, mostly women, tell super-cute stories about their cat Mittens. After two seasons, what I like most about 6 Degrees of Cats is its scholarly intentions toward cats, Amanda B's hosting skill, and the catchy friskiness of its audio."

"...it’s comfortable, it’s approachable, and it’s the type of podcast that I would throw just an episode, or a whole season at someone to get them into the idea of listening to podcasts. The way that Six Degrees of Cats has managed to reflect society’s feelings on the animal in this podcast is somewhat breathtaking when thought is put into it."

"(Season 2) It’s really a history, religion, culture, and science podcast, using cats as a vehicle to flesh out the past. The show is both informative (Amanda brings on experts to help her get answers) and beautiful. Episodes are carefully and expertly hand-crafted and use a mixture of interview, storytelling, and lots of personality from Amanda."
