Press Release:
Los Angeles, CA — October 7, 2024 — Lauren Speed-Hamilton and Cameron Hamilton from Love is Blind Season 1 are excited to announce the launch of their new simulcast podcast, The Love Seat, on October 8, 2024.
The Love Seat, based on their successful YouTube mini-series of the same name, is a bi-weekly podcast where Lauren and Cameron explore love and relationships, in addition to the journey of personal growth, mental wellness, and self-love. This is a space to connect, learn, and laugh together, whether navigating love with a partner or working on the most important relationship of all, the one with yourself. They’ll invite guests to join them on The Love Seat couch, from Amber and Matt Barnett (Love is Blind, Season 1), Brett and Tiffany Brown (Love is Blind, Season 4), relationship expert Calvin Roberson, sex educator Emily Nagoski, and more.
"The Love Seat is truly a dream come true for us! We've always loved being open about our journey, and this podcast will allow us to take those conversations even further, into the real, raw, and unfiltered sides of life, love, and everything in between. What makes this show special is that it’s not just about relationships, it’s about building a place where we can all laugh, learn, and grow together,” said Lauren and Cameron. “We’re sharing ideas that will help people thrive while also making them feel at home. Plus, we’re opening up parts of our story that we haven’t shared before, letting listeners in on the lessons we’ve learned along the way. Right now, the world needs more positivity, connection, and a space where we can all lift each other up and that's what The Love Seat is all about.”
“Lauren and Cameron have built a beloved relationship with their audience over the years, many of them rooting for the couple the moment they walked into the Love is Blind pods. Audiences and advertisers will be thrilled by their incredible on-screen presence and playful dynamic. We’re also excited to utilize Lauren and Cameron’s energetic personalities for Talent Read campaigns, extending their influence across shows with a similar audience demographic,” said Ryan Chambers, Senior Vice-President of Sales at Gumball.
Ad sales for The Love Seat will be facilitated by Gumball, the Headgum-owned marketplace for advertisers to buy host-read ads directly from podcasters. CAA, which represents Lauren Speed-Hamilton and Cameron Hamilton, brokered the deal with Gumball.
