Dr. Strange, Dave Matthew, Crypto, and A Podcast meet in my dreams

I didn't want to bore the newsletter audience, so if you are here to read the full brain dump. This is a 100% true story. Thank you!

This podcast recommendation came from an unexpected source-my dream. It all included the recent news cycle, new movies, and randomly a Dave Matthew road trip. In the end, I awoke to the recommendation of Exit Scam.

It started earlier this week in the news where Cryptocurrencies started crashing, read about it here, with the idea from Coinbase CEO, Brian Armstrong saying wallet holders could lose their holdings in a bankruptcy.

Then I went to go see Dr. Strange and the Multiverse of Madness. Not a spoiler: They talk about the concept that our dreams are our multiversal selves in real life. Vice versa, they dream about our real lives. Fascinating to think about.

Combine that into last night's dream, my friends love Dave Matthew's Band, but we haven't talked about the band in a while so I'm not sure how he ended up in my thoughts. But Dave and I ended up taking a road trip in an electric truck to the Bay Area.

I mention to Dave, “Hey, you were writing this song called Exit Stories back in the day (he hasn't, has he?)…there’s a podcast called Exit Scam, let’s listen to it.”

And poof, I woke up. How did Exit Scam get into my dream? All I knew is that it was on Great Pods. That's it. I had no idea what it was about.

Guess what? It's about a True Crime Crypto scam. This one individual and his company went bankrupt and swindled $200 million.

This was all crazy to me. My dream multiversal self was road-tripping and listening to Exit Scam while our current universe is going through a Crypto crash.

What a sign to have. I am two episodes in, and the host, Aaron Lammer (Longform podcast), does a great job narrating and interviewing people involved. I'm sticking with this full podcast for my multiversal friends out there.

“It’s kind of a dangerous world that Exit Scam gazes into, and Lammer provides a stabilizing, almost comforting presence throughout.”

The Multiverse is real!! JK. But who knows.
