Case 63 is a hit with critics
I'll just preface by saying I really like Oscar Isaac as an actor and human. Julianne Moore is a classic. When this podcast popped up, I had to add it immediately to the Great Pods directory and I ferociously looked for reviews so I could share it across the site and newsletter. Huzzah.
One of the fun and funniest questions I've seen: Is Case 63 real? Case 63 is not real and not a true story. It's a fun one to think about. Chilean creator has said to have taken real-world events to make his fiction podcast. It's just sci-fi. And the Spanish version has 3 complete seasons. So it's safe to say now that Case 63 has been a hit, it will continue to its finale of 3 seasons as well.
Brief description: New York psychiatrist Dr. Eliza Knight (Academy Award winner Julianne Moore) begins treating a patient registered as Case 63 (Emmy nominee Oscar Isaac) who claims to be from the year 2062. What begins as routine therapeutic sessions quickly turns into a story that threatens the boundaries of the possible and the real.
The critic reviews have been positive and continue to build. From the Times UK to Nerds and Beyond, folks are liking this podcast. I even liked this podcast. Under 15 min each episode there are a total of 10.
"a tense, twisty, suspenseful sci-fi thriller" - Patricia Nicol • The Times UK
"interweaving a handful of gripping plot twists" - Lindsey D. • Nerds and Beyond
Even in the completed Spanish version:
"la brevedad es un don de esta series" Pablo Fisher • Escucha Podcast
